- The most important thing in the
Christian Life is to be near Jesus –to do what he does, say what he says .
- It’s important to remember we can
sometimes be guilty before the law and innocent before God, when we obey God rather
than men.
- There’s no service demeaning to a
Christian, and no ministry we can perform effectively in our own
strength.
- Life and death do not just lie at
the end of two pathways – they are the two pathways!

God

- -the infallibility of Scripture:- the Deity of Christ
;- the Virgin Birth(conception); -the miracles of Jesus;- Christ’s
substitutionary death; - Christ’s physical resurrection and return to
earth.
- Truth is not determined by majority
vote – the world was round like the ball when everyone believed it was
flat.
- When the temptation of pride comes,
as it will . . .we must lock the door against it – whatever it takes.
- Praise is the antidote to fear.
- God can destroy the power that
keeps you sick . . .
- Sine-cere = pure-without wax. (used

- You can break all the laws of
nature and of God if you like, but sooner or later they’ll break you.

- The transaction God requires of me is

the devil you need to ask how much experience you have of Christ.

the pilot . – our feelings do not dictate whether we arrive or not.

sermon of good news.
- Matthew 10 - sermon of mission.
- Matthew 13 -sermon of growth of the
Kingdom.
- Matthew 18 - sermon of the church.
- Matthew 24+25 - mystery of last
things and the end.
- Jesus shared his love through
action not words – is there a credibility gap between the Christ we
preach and what we do?
- To evangelise, is to create
conditions for the Holy Spirit to convict.
- I must have clean hands and a pure heart
before God can arm me for Battle.
- We need two types of covering
- the Blood (1John 1:6-10) and
the Armour (Eph.6:11-18)
- The Blood only covers Sin we
uncover, if we don’t walk in truth there is a big chink in our Armour.
- Pride and arrogance results in
being deceived.
- Is God’s priority, my priority?
- God rewards those who diligently
seek Him.
- God didn’t Call us to be successful
– but faithful.
- Don’t let ‘yesterday’ bury
‘tomorrow’.
- No Christian is defeated unless
they’ve chosen defeat.
- The task ahead of me is never as
great as the Power behind me.
- No one can stumble when they’re on
their knees.
- The stream of sin and the river of
salvation run along side by side.
- Storms make trees grow deeper
roots.
- Anxiety is the results of our hopes
not being in God’s Will for us.
- Anything too small to be turned
into a prayer is too small to be turned into a burden (Corrie Ten

- If you find a path in life with no
obstacles it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.
- Faith goes up the stairs Love has
made and looks out of the windows Hope has opened.
- Faith sees the invisible, feels the
intangible and achieves the impossible.
- Lord, give me the wisdom to make
stepping stones out of stumbling blocks.
