   Freedom

      Promises

    Come

  Discouraged?

Problems?

  Yearning?

     Rejection?

   Groans?

    Choice

 Truth?

    It is for Freedom
that Christ has set you free.
    Walk in that freedom,
       don’t return to slavery.
    Christ goes ahead of you
       to each place He leads.
    Relax, smell the roses
       and ignore the weeds.
    Christ offered Freedom from
       every hurt and pain -
    So, go with Jesus on
       paths He will make plain.
    Don’t lag behind Him and
       do not run ahead.
    Satan may beckon but
       go God’s Way instead.

Come to the Cross of Jesus Christ –

the place to be 'at home' –

The place to truly be yourself

   (no TV, PC, phone)

Please don't give up your Birthright

of the Freedom Jesus bought -

And don't lose your Inheritance

   because God's Ways you fought'.

God's Kingdom can't be shaken –

   it's an all-consuming fire.

You must go down lower before

   Jesus can lift you higher.

His flames will burn all the refuse

   that 'worldliness' has sired -

Leaving room or Holiness and

   the Life Jesus inspires

Satan has many weapons,

   one is discouragement.

So not let this ploy of his

in your faith make a dent.

Though black clouds seem to gather

do not be filled with dread.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and

   accept His Peace instead –

Knowing problems may not come

from Satan or from sin ~

But be God inviting you

   to trust only in Him.

Don't look down at your problems

   instead look up to Christ.

Give Him all of your burdens

   then His Peace will suffice.

You must choose not to worry –

   about things that depress.

When you are trusting only Him

   Jesus is sure to bless.

Leave your problems at His feet.

   Look up into His face.

Trust Jesus Christ to save you –

   then relax in God's Grace.

Don't let your mind blot out those things

that your heart has yearned for.

God has placed ahead of you

    an ever open door.

Do not look at the pitfalls

and rocks upon the Way –

Because He's gone ahead of you

   and He's prepared each day.

Has the world been rejecting you

when, to God's Word' you are true?

Christ Jesus was rejected too

    so He'll empathise with you.

Christ offers His Peace, Joy and Love

and to lift you up above -

The murky depths of dark despair

   to accept His Loving care.

Leave your burdens in His grave –

it was you He came to save

Is your life full of groans

or do you live in Grace?

D'you see difficulties

   or God's amazing ways?

Is your soul full of peace

   or are you struggling?

Give your life to Jesus,

   trust Him with everything.

Shalom' He offers all

   who follow at His pace.

Is your life full of groans

or do you know God's Grace?

God made the world. He made you in it ,

You have a need. God can fulfill it .

He gave ability. He gave choice"

So you can trust or reject His Voice. (Rev.4:11)

Life is a battle of Wrong and Right .

Independence of God, in His sight

Is SIN. We're created to go His Way

Every moment of each single day. (Rom.3:23) ..

God's punishment for every 'small' sin

Is 'Death'- it's separation from Him.

"Death is a place of 'Time with no end'

Without the love only God can send. (2 Thess.l :8&9)

God is Love -all of which comes from Him.

He came to earth to pay for your sin ~

Died on a cross, then rose from the dead -

So you needn't die, but LIVE instead. (Rom.5:8)

Christ Jesus was not like you and me,

His sinless life was all purity –

So there was no way He could stay dead.

He rose ~like cork in water -instead.

Christ conquered Death for you and for me

IF we believe in His Divinity.

Christ Jesus died to pay for your sin,

He'll give you LIFE if you trust in Him. (1 Peter 1 :3~

You have a choice, so what will you choose?

will you accept or reject God's Good News?

You can't trust God yet reject His Son –

Will you believe in all that He's done?

Will you repent of all of your sin,

   Turn to Jesus, and trust only Him? (In.3:16-18;

Did you exaggerate a bit

   relating what happened

So the clear plumbline of Truth did,

   ever so slightly, bend?

Did you distort? Misrepresent?

Lets be blunt -did you lie?

Hoping the false witness you bore

would mean that Truth would die?

Christ Jesus says that He will help

us grow strong where we're weak –

to tell the Truth, no matter what,

if it's His Will we seek.

Your a se 00 has a way, my friend

   of discrediting you.

You would find it so much safer

   to always say what's true.

         (and so would I!!)

Has it ever crossed your mind

        to wonder why you're here?

Why Jesus died to save you

why He holds your life dear?

    Have you ever considered

       implications of it all?

Have you ever seen His cross?

Did you, then, hear His Call?

    Can you afford to ignore

       the chance of redemption?

Or ignore the Gift of Life

       offered you by God's Son?

    Now, ask yourself this question

       As Jesus died for me

    Shouldn't I accept His Gift

       offered at Calvary?
